Overview
OpenAI has released the GPT-5 family of models. These are the most advanced models yet, offering faster performance and deep reasoning abilities.
- GPT-5 — Flagship model with adaptive reasoning, industry-leading benchmark scores in coding, math, and medical tasks, precise multi-tool orchestration, and significantly reduced hallucinations compared to 4o.
- GPT-5 Mini — Faster, cost-efficient, and ideal for high-volume or lighter workloads without sacrificing reasoning quality.
- GPT-5 Nano — Ultra-low-latency, ultra-lightweight model built for real-time, edge, and embedded applications.
### Step 1 – Update the Prompt
- Log into the Syllable Console
- Click Prompts in the navigation menu on the left
- Select the agent that you want to update and then click "Edit"
- Under Model set Provider to OpenAI, set the Model to GPT-5 and select the latest Version
- Click Save
### Step 2 – Test your agent
- Click on Agent in the navigation menu on the left
- Select the Agent whose prompt you updated and click on "Start Session"
- Put it through the paces, which depends on your use case. Pay attention to outcomes, tool calls, etc.
